About CCCAM

CCCAM is the Competitive Cheer Coaches Association of Michigan. It is our purpose to provide education, leadership and guidance to all girls competitive cheer coaches. Therefore, our focus is to enhance and promote the growth of girls competitive cheer as a sport in Michigan.

Fall Summit

The Fall Summit is the educational highlight of the year. The 2011 Fall Summit will be held on November 5, 2011 at The DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

 

Scholarships / Scholarship Invitational

Scholarship receipients and amounts are determined from the proceeds of the Scholarship Invitational.  Results are announced in February.

 

Mentoring

You can be paired with a veteran competitive cheer coach in your area. If you are already experienced, you will benefit from sharing your knowledge with others. There is also a Mentor Meeting held at various locations state-wide in October each year to answer any questions for the upcoming seasson.  Contact the Mentor Director for more information (telephone number on the home page).

 

Academic All-State

Member coaches can recognize all athletes with a 3.8 GPA and higher.  All teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above are recognized as well. Previous team and individual winners can be found on the CCCAM website.

 

All-State Teams

Outstanding athletes will be recognized at the district, regional and state level.  All-State teams will be posted the the website.

 

MHSCA

A Michigan High School Coaches Association membership is included when you join CCCAM. This association provides coaches with discounts for certain vendors, eligibility for numerous coaching awards & representation at the state level concerning sport related issues.

 

Coach of the Year Award

This year, at the regional level, we recognized 15 coaches from all over the state. A Michigan Competitive Cheer Coach of the Year has been selected from these nominees and will be honored at the state level.
