Academic All State

Coaches, let your athletes know how much you value their commitment to academics.  Recognize the athletes on your team with a 3.8 or higher GPA.  Teams with a minimum, cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher will also be honored.  Requirements are:

Academic All State Individuals

• Coach must be a current CCCAM member by 2/1/12
• Nominee must be a current member of a Varsity Competitive Cheer Team
• Athlete must have a minimum, overall GPA of a 3.8 (un-rounded) by the end of the 1st semester or tri-mester of the current school year
• Athletes must send an official copy of their transcript showing GPA
• Due Date:  February 28, 2012

Academic All State Team

• Coach must be a current member of CCCAM by 2/1/12
• Team GPA average must be a minimum of 3.0 (un-rounded) by the end of the first semester of the current school year.  The Academic All State Form 2 (excel document) MUST be used to calculate your team's GPA
• The Academic All State Form 1  must be filled out and signed by a school official - head counselor, athletic secretary, principal, or athletic director
• A copy of the Master Eligibility Form must accompany both forms - every member of your team that is listed on the master eligibility form must be included
• Academic all state team honors will be given to the top team in each of the four divisions for Competitive Cheer, as determined by the MHSAA.
• Subsequent nominated teams meeting the criteria will be recognized with an Honorable Mention certificate
