1. Allow extended stunts to brace an extension level stunt when the bracing flyer’s torso is in an upright position. This must be a double-based stunt with a back spot. The exception is the “Box-Out” pictured on p. 53 (no spotter is required). The photo on p. 54 with “chairs” bracing an extension is now legal. 2. Allow a team to perform a near and far arm cartwheel and a switch split, side split and/or triple splits in Round 2. 2009 FALL SUMMIT MENTOR MEETINGS Coaches at the District and Regional level have voted for their selection of coach of the year. One of the coaches will receive the honor of Competitive Cheer Coach of the Year and will represent our sport at the Michigan High School Coaches Association Coach-of-the-Year Dinner in the fall. Awards in the amount of $24,900 were awarded in 2009. One of the prerequisites for eligibility is your Varsity team's participation in the annual Scholarship Invitational. Your athletes work hard to maintain high academic standards-show them you appreciate their achievements and get your registration in early for the December 12, 2009 Invitational.
