Tricia Williams - Stoney Creek

I am currently in my 20th year coaching at Stoney Creek and 27th year coaching overall.  I have coached in every area of the state and all age levels (youth - college) and have served as a competitive cheer official for many years which allows me to have a perspective from many different experiences.  I have served on the CCCAM Board in various positions over the years including, President, Past President, Vice-President, Scholarship Director, Scholarship Invitational Director, Mentor Director, and I currently serve as the Coaches' Education Director.  I am passionate about CCCAM helping coaches and have created many initiatives and tools while serving on the board.  Some of those initiatives are the the video glossary, the CCCAM Board cheer chats, and the current competition website and score website.  I have proposed coaches education clinics and will continue to work to continue to make coaches education a driving force in CCCAM as our mission states and to create informative and accessible coaches education opportunities to help our sport grow and our coaches feel supported.

TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR (2 YEAR TERM)

Brittany Gunderson - Gaylord

Hello CCCAM fam! I am the Varsity Sideline & Competitive Cheer Coach, Brittany Gunderson. I am in my 5th year of rebuild since myself and fellow coaches took over the Blue Devil Cheer program. We now run the youth, middle school and high school levels in our community.

Our program prides itself on successfully creating a culture of positive mindset. Our mission is to mold female athletes into strong, fierce leaders in our schools & community and to teach them to be accountable by having integrity, tenacity and grit.

I served on the CCCAM working board for 2021 as the Academic All State Director. I have been a CCCAM member since 2017 and I enjoy being part of a community of like minded coaches who are all striving for the same common goal- to empower strong student athletes!

Growing up playing sports in Northern Michigan always had its challenges when compared to more southern areas and now as a coach, I feel I can be a voice and be active with CCCAM to remain knowledgeable and an advocate for my program and our region.

Outside of coaching cheer I am a nurse, health coach, and my favorite… a wife and mother of four!

It has been an honor to be a part of the Board and contribute to the decisions that drive change in our sport. I am running for Region 1 Representative so that I can bring the perspective and concerns of our region to the Boards attention and to continue to drive positive change in competitive cheer.
