The Summit is back on October 24th–25th for two jam-packed days of education, networking, and preparation to kick off your competitive season!

  • Location: Lansing Center | 333 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48933

  • Lodging: Book directly at the DoubleTree by Hilton, conveniently connected right to the Lansing Center via the provided link.

Saturday

  • 1:00–3:30 PM – Getting to Know Your Manual (Parts 1 & 2)

  • 1:30–2:20 PM – Summit Speaker Block Sessions #1

  • 2:30–3:30 PM – Summit Speaker Block Sessions #2

  • 4:00–5:00 PM – Award Ceremony

  • 5:00–6:00 PM – Keynote Speaker: Coach Lain

  • 7:00–9:00 PM – CCCAM Mixer Tailgate with Vendor Bingo Raffle (Wear your school pride!)

Sunday

  • 9:15–9:55 AM – Welcome and General Membership

  • 10:00–10:50 AM – Summit Speaker Block Sessions #1

  • 11:00–11:50 AM – Summit Speaker Block Sessions #2

  • 11:50 AM–1:10 PM – Provided Lunch (Choose between Italian Wrap, Garden Goodness Salad [vegan, vegetarian, GF/DF], or Chicken Caesar Salad)

  • 1:10–2:00 PM – Summit Speaker Block Sessions #3

  • 2:10–3:00 PM – Summit Speaker Block Sessions #4

  • 3:00–4:30 PM – Rules Meeting

  • Keynote Address: Hear from Coach Lain on “You’re Not Afraid, You’re Uncomfortable.”

  • Comprehensive Sessions: Sunday features a full lineup geared toward all experience levels, covering stunting, tumbling, choreography, judging tips, jump improvement, conditioning, cleaning rounds, and more.

  • Statewide Networking: Connect and share strategies with coaches from all over Michigan.

  • MHSAA Rules Meeting: Led by Kathy Westdorp, MHSAA Assistant Director and Competitive Cheer Representative. Attending this in-person session fulfills your MHSAA Rules Meeting requirement so you can skip it online.
