2014 Coach of the Year

Beth Campbell has recently completed her 18th year of coaching cheerleading; with her last 4 as the competitive cheer coach at Notre Dame Preparatory School.  She began her coaching career at Troy High School where she coached the freshmen team for one year and the varsity team for 13 years.
Beth has served on the CCCAM board for 4 years as both the Membership Director and Fall Summit Co-Chair. She was awarded District Coach of the year 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2015. She was also named Regional Coach of the Year 2009, 2014 and 2015. Her current Notre Dame Preparatory School is currently the 3 time defending state champions of division 3.
Beth's cheer career began when she was a small child. Cheering all the way from elementary school through her 4 years at Lake Orion High School. Beth attended Oakland University and graduated with her Bachelors degree in Communications in 2003. She began coaching while in college.
Beth’s favorite part, without question, is having the opportunity to impact athletes in a positive way through cheer. Watching athletes accomplish goals and do things they never thought they could do is so rewarding. Knowing that you impacted a kids life in a positive way makes all of the sacrifices that come with coaching worth it.
One thing I have learned over my years of coaching is to make sure you have a network of coaches who can support you. Thinking you can be successful on your own was a mistake I made early on. Networking and continual learning is what has sustained my coaching career. Having other coaches to lean on and get advice from has helped shaped the coach I am.

Currently Beth is the Director of Alumni Relations at Notre Dame Preparatory School.  Beth has 3 beautiful children, Haleigh (8), Rylee (6) and Liam (3).
